GREAT GREEN GLOBS SKIT

Scene:    Roles are referred to as <1> and <2>. <1> can be played
          by one or two people and <2> can be played by one person or a
          group of people. <1> is stirring a pot <2> approaches with
          spoon in hand.

<2>       Hi <1> what's cooking?

<1>       Hi <2>, Oh just a little something special I cook up at about
          this time every year. Would you like to try some?

<2>       YES! It sure smells good <1>. What is in it? (Stretch this out
          with more comments if you have a group playing the part.)

<1>       Hummmm (thinking) this is still to hot to taste. You might
          burn your tongue. While we wait for it to cool down I will
          teach you a song that has all the ingredients in it. The song
          goes like this.....

          Great green globs of greasy grimy gopher guts,
          Mutilated monkey meat, little birdy's dirty feet,
          A one pint jar of all-purpose porpoise pus,
          Floating in pink lemonade.

          (Give a stir to the pot and smell aroma ie: turn your back)

<2>       (If a group, and <1> has his back to them, some members may
          now hand their spoons to people at the back or to members of
          the audience.)

<1>       It is still too hot to taste. Let's all sing the song so that
          you can mix up a batch of your own.

<ALL>     Great green globs of greasy grimy gopher guts,
          Mutilated monkey meat, little birdy's dirty feet,
          A one pint jar of all-purpose porpoise pus,
          Floating in pink lemonade.

<1>       (Check the Pot.)

<2>       (If a group, and <1> has his back to them, ALL members should
          now hand their spoons to members of the audience.)

<1>       It is cool enough! Who wants to taste first?

<2>       <1> WE FORGOT OUR SPOONS!

<1>       I have straws for everyone.(Produce handful of straws and hand 
          out to <2>)

<1> and <2> all put straws in pot and "Slurrrp"

Now to honour the cast I suggest.....

THE PUMPKIN YELL!

(Have persons you are honouring stand in the middle or at the
front. Caution the group that they should only use imaginary
pumpkins and not to try this at home!)

OK everybody cut the top off your pumpkin. Reach down inside and
get a big handful of STUFF (Seeds etc.) PULL it out and say EEEWW
(If you know "Ernest" you know just how to say this.) and throw it
at the guests of honour.
